Contemporary Mixed Media Artist · Toronto, Canada
Sasha Push, born Aleksandra Pushkareva, is a Toronto-based contemporary artist and the founder of KISS PINK. Her practice brings together painting, collage, and street art, combining contemporary pop culture with vintage imagery and bold visual contrasts.
Originally from Moscow, Sasha left her hometown at seventeen and developed her artistic practice independently. A self-taught artist, she has shaped a visual language rooted in personal experience, curiosity, and the freedom to experiment.
Artistic Approach
Working with acrylics, spray paint, vintage newspapers, and photographic imagery, Sasha creates layered compositions that blend the aesthetics of luxury with the raw energy of graffiti. Her work explores ambition, individuality, and self-expression, drawing inspiration from travel, movement, and human psychology.
These contrasting elements invite viewers to consider how identity is shaped and expressed. Rather than assigning a single meaning to each piece, Sasha leaves room for personal interpretation, allowing the viewer’s own memories and emotions to become part of the encounter.
Personal Stories, Original Works
Alongside her original artworks, Sasha creates bespoke commissions inspired by personal stories, memories, and individual visions. Each commission translates these starting points into a unique composition through her distinctive mixed media approach.
Across her practice, art becomes an expression of independence: the freedom to imagine, experiment, and create on one’s own terms.
In the Artist’s Words
“For me, creating art is ultimately about freedom — the freedom to imagine, experiment, and bring something into existence that didn’t exist before.”
