Contemporary Impressionist Artist | Nature & Light
Renee Dumont is a contemporary Impressionist painter based in Massachusetts and Southwest Florida. Working professionally since 1985, she creates atmospheric landscapes inspired by light, water, and the quiet beauty of the natural world.
Her experience includes collaborating on large-scale art projects for restaurants, medical offices, government facilities, and municipal buildings as part of artist William Perry’s professional art team.
Artistic Approach
Working from direct observation and imagination, Dumont captures the feeling of a place through expressive palette-knife strokes and layered, luminous color. Her paintings explore the changing qualities of light and water, balancing movement with a sense of stillness.
The five works selected for AVRA Gallery belong to The Quiet Light Collection, a series bringing together atmospheric light, expressive movement, and the peace found in nature.
Art in the Interior
With their luminous color and atmospheric depth, Dumont’s paintings bring a sense of calm and connection to nature into residential and shared spaces. Their expressive surfaces invite closer attention while creating a gentle presence within an interior.
Custom commissions are available for landscapes inspired by meaningful places, with size, palette, and other details tailored to each project.
