François Sahuc

French Artist | Architect

François Sahuc is a French artist and architect based in Paris. He studied architecture at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris and later established his own architectural studio in the Marais district.

Drawing has remained an essential part of his creative practice, bringing together the discipline of architecture with the freedom and immediacy of the human gesture.

Artistic Approach

Sahuc focuses primarily on the female body as seen through the perspective of a male artist and architect. His expressive drawings explore femininity, strength, vulnerability, sensuality, and freedom.

Working predominantly from live models, he uses charcoal, red chalk, pastel, and white highlights. His distinctive visual language combines architectural precision with instinctive line, movement, and emotion.

Art in the Interior

With their expressive line and restrained palette, Sahuc’s works complement contemporary, classic, minimalist, and eclectic interiors.

Their elegant graphic quality allows each piece to create a strong artistic presence while remaining refined and visually balanced within the space.

Exhibitions

Sahuc exhibits regularly in France and internationally. Recent presentations include Galerie Artinteractivities in Bordeaux, Galerie Carré Art in Paris, and Galerie Omnius in Arles in 2026, as well as Galerie Kiff & Marais in Paris in 2025.

His work has also been exhibited in Marbella, Porto-Vecchio, Dinan, Montréal, New York, Mexico City, Marseille, and Amsterdam.
