Frame Rolled in tube Unframed Black Gold Wood White

(Order a custom-sized artwork and a custom-made frame)

Created in collaboration with artist Lily Fontan, this work combines her vivid red acrylic painting with François Sahuc’s expressive drawing directly on the canvas. Lily also posed for the reclining figure, rendered in pastel and charcoal with delicate white highlights. Overlapping lines and soft shading bring depth to the body, while the elongated composition balances the intimacy of the pose with the bold energy of the painted background.
