Frame Rolled in tube Unframed Black Gold Wood White

(Order a custom-sized artwork and a custom-made frame)

The title comes from the Latin Cordis Architecti, which can be interpreted as “Architects of the Heart.” Here, the relationship between two people is presented as a complex structure that cannot be built alone. Each person becomes part of the other’s emotional architecture, shaping intimacy, trust, vulnerability, and memory.
In Nik Kruglove distinctive visual language, contemporary figurative art, Cubism, Surrealism, and Expressionism come together in a layered portrait of a couple. Intertwined figures and fragmented faces emphasize the complexity of human connection, where two separate individuals gradually create a shared emotional space.
The work reflects on love as something that does not simply happen, but is built by two people.
