“The Face of Time”
The title comes from the Latin Facies Temporis, meaning “The Face of Time.” In this work, time seems to take on a face of its own, composed of multiple images, memories, and emotional states. Past and present coexist, layered over one another to create a new reality.
In Nik Kruglove distinctive visual language, contemporary figurative art, Cubism, Surrealism, and Expressionism come together in a complex composition of intersecting faces and forms. The fragmentation becomes a metaphor for time itself, constantly reshaping a person while preserving traces of every lived moment.
The work reflects on memory, transformation, and the invisible connection between who we once were and who we are becoming.
