“The Inner Eye”
The title comes from the Latin Oculus Interior, meaning “The Inner Eye.” Here, the gaze is directed not toward the outside world, but inward, to the place where intuition, doubt, and personal truth begin.
In Nik Kruglove distinctive visual language, contemporary figurative art, Cubism, Surrealism, and Expressionism come together in a complex, layered composition. The recurring image of the eye becomes a symbol of self observation and the ability to see what usually remains hidden from others.
The work reflects on inner vision and the kind of truth that can only be discovered within oneself.
