Busy or on Hold explores the loneliness that can persist in an age of constant connectivity. A child sits among passing adults, turning to a device while waiting for time and attention that the demands of working life continually consume. Rather than judging the parent, the painting reveals a poignant paradox: technology keeps us connected while our closest relationships remain on hold. It reflects on the distance between physical presence and emotional availability.
